What is SRS and how can I activate it?

The abbreviation SRS stands for Sender Rewrite Scheme and is used when forwarding e-mails. This adjusts the sender address of the email so that there are no problems with SPF checks when the email arrives at the final recipient and is checked. However, the final recipient will still see who originally sent the email.

How you can activate SRS?

This is very simple. You don’t have to do anything!

We cannot offer the function on hostings with the Confixx control panel. If you need redirects that require SRS because an SPF check is made, then we recommend switching to a hosting with Plesk as the control panel.

On our hostings with Plesk control panel, the function is automatically active, and you can simply set up redirects normally.

This also applies to forwarding in the hosted Exchange. Here, too, the forwarding is carried out by means of SRS.
