How do I activate DNSSEC for my domain (domain reselling)?

In this article, we explain how to activate DNSSEC in domain reselling.

Enable DNSSEC with hosttech nameserver:

1. Log in to your myhosttech customer center and go to DNS Editor > DNS management.
2. Click on Edit for the relevant domain.
3. Activate and save DNSSEC above. The DNSSEC key is now displayed.
   
   
4. Now open Domain Reselling in a new tab/window via myhosttech Customer Center and switch to Expert mode.
5. Navigate to Domains > Domains and click on the relevant domain to display the domain details.
6. Switch to the Nameserver tab/tab and click on the Activate DNSSEC button.
   
   
7. Now you can add the DNSSEC record by copying and pasting the DS records from the zone. Then click on confirm and save the change.
   
   
8. The installation is now complete.

Enable DNSSEC with external name servers:

1. Request the necessary DNSSEC key (DS record) from your DNS provider. If the provider does not support DNSSEC, DNSSEC cannot be set up.
2. Log in to your myhosttech customer account and open Domain Reselling in the menu on the left. Switch to expert mode.
3. Navigate to Domains > Domains and click on the relevant domain to display the domain details.
4. Switch to the Nameserver tab/tab and click on the Activate DNSSEC button
5. Now you can add the DNSSEC record by copying and pasting the DS records from the zone. Then click on confirm and save the change.
6. The installation is now complete.
