How do I link my domain to the Microsoft 365 service?

Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based service from Microsoft that offers a collection of Office applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) as well as additional functions and services. These include Microsoft Teams for collaboration, OneDrive for cloud storage and SharePoint for document management. The service allows users to access their data from different devices and offers regular updates, high security standards and integrated collaboration tools. Microsoft 365 is available as a subscription for both private and business customers.

1. Log in to the Microsoft 365 control panel. http://admin.microsoft.com
2. Click on “Setup” on the left.
3. Select “Set up emails with a custom domain”.
4. Click “Use a domain that you already own”.
5. In the next step, enter your domain registered with hosttech and click next.
6. Enter the DNS records displayed in your myhosttech customer center. You can do this under “Domain” > “Domaincenter” > Details for your domain and then enter the corresponding values.
7. Go back to the configuration of your Microsoft account.
8. Enter an e-mail address.
9. Now switch back to your myhosttech customer center and enter the DNS records displayed. It is important to delete the previous entries under MX Records and replace them with the entries displayed.
10. Select “Connect to e-mail” in the Microsoft account.
